To Beyond The Heaven

For centuries, the carpet has served as a ground for the Eastern artist’s imagination a woven plane where dreams are captured beneath the steps of humankind. Within the realm of their imagination, Iranian artists discovered in the carpet a possibility: To render, knot by knot, their vision of an ideal world and to share it with others. This exhibition is an attempt to bring together diverse perspectives on the carpet, revealing the inner imagery of modern and contemporary Iranian artists. It offers a glimpse into the vast mental landscapes and the enduring creations that have taken shape within this timeless cultural medium.
